OZONE SESSIONS

The ozone sauna is a pod which you will sit in throughout treatment, leaving your head outside of the device. Each treatment session lasts about 25-30 minutes. First, steam and carbonic acid are released to hydrate the skin and open the pores. Carbonic acid, or CA, has been shown to increase uptake and delivery of oxygen to the cells. This stage of the treatment also causes blood vessels to dilate, which improves circulation. 
 

The next stage of ozone sauna treatment is the ozone cycle. Through this stage, ozone is released, combining with the steam to create H2O2. This helps to kill bacteria, yeast, and other harmful microorganisms. When the session is complete, the ozone sauna device will remove the ozone and steam.

Most patients find ozone sauna treatment to be very calm and relaxing. The steam used is warm, but should not be too hot. There is no downtime or recovery period required after ozone sauna treatment. You should quickly find relief from pain or soreness following your session. 

On average, most patients will schedule ozone sauna treatments once or twice per week.
